Dar Imlil may not quite have the location of the Kasbah but it is wonderfully situated on the
outskirts of Imlil village near the river and looks up toThe Kasbah and The Toubkal summit. It is
about a 10 minute walk (500 meters) from the Kasbah and 5 minutes from the centre of Imlil.

Over recent years the Kasbah has become increasingly popular as its reputation has grown. This is mainly due to our many satisfied guests, interest generated by press articles and the numerous awards the Kasbah has received and its creative responsible impact on the local community. Consequently, there is a greater demand for rooms, than we can satisfy especially during the high season. Our solution to this rather than build ever more rooms at the Kasbah which we feel would spoil the intimate and unique atmosphere has been to build or source more capacity in Imlil village.

Dar Imlil is owned by Abdul (our deputy manager at the kasbah) brother of Hajj Maurice the Kasbah manager. We have been able to ensure that the build quality and fixtures and fittings are of a similar standard to the Kasbah and it is managed to a similar standard working with the local community as an integral part of its ethos. As at the Kasbah the 5% levy to the Village Association applies.

Guests take breakfast at the Riad and can choose whether to eat lunch and or dinner at the Riad or at the Kasbah. Meals are €15 euros per person for Lunch and € 20 euros per person for Dinner. Dar Imlil is situation 30 meters from the Imlil village hammam so anyone wanting to take a hammam does not have far to go.

    * €120 euros B&B per room per night (1 or 2 sharing)
    * 4 en suite rooms almost identical to our standard rooms at the Kasbah (shower, wash basin and WC)
    * The bedrooms can be set up as either twins or doubles
    * Carved walnut furniture and fittings by local craftsmen
