With 360 degree panoramic views, Kasbah Bab Ourika receives warm sunlight all day, ending in spectacular sunsets. Guests can relax in individually decorated rooms with their own terraces or unwind by the secluded swimming pool.
Meals are served in the gardens or in the colonnaded restaurant or can be taken privately in the rooms or suites. The restaurant serves food that is freshly supplied daily from the surrounding villages. The chef specialises in traditional Berber recipes as well as international cuisine.
Above all the Kasbah offers peace and relaxation in spectacular surroundings, a memorable escape from the hustle of the Western World.
The Kasbah is one of the most eco-friendly buildings in Morocco. Constructed principally from Pise (rammed earth), the traditional Berber building technique, it blends easily with rock and earth around it.
Thick walls provide natural insulation in the heat and along with solar panels ensure a balanced temperature. All water at the Kasbah is recycled and used in the garden. An innovative biodigester system is to be used to produce electricity and also compost for the garden; the village below will also benefit.

Dramatic views of the Mountains and Ourika Valley. Deluxe Room is larger than Superior Room and has ensuite bathroom with bath and shower, safe, fireplace and or private terrace.

Deluxe Suite
Dramatic views of Mountains and the Ourika Valley. Deluxe Suite is very large and is often used by families with 2 extra beds. It has ensuite bathroom with bath and shower, safe, fireplace and private terrace.
Excursions
Day trips by car to the Ourika Valley, the Setti Fatma Water Falls and the Tamadant Valley.
Skiing, a 40 minute drive away, in the Atlas Mountains ski resort of Oukaimdon.
Visit to the large Monday Berber “Monday Market” at the nearby town of Tnine Ourika and to the farms growing herbs and flowers in the valley.
Day trips into Marrakech (45 minutes by car) to explore on foot the Souks in the Medina and to enjoy the delights of the famous Main Square (Djemaa el Fna).
Water rafting, Caneoning, Mountain Biking.
Hot Air Balloon Day with camel ride and visit to Berber Village.
For a more leisurely day, relax by the Kasbah swimming pool and in the gardens with their views over the Valley of Ourika and the Atlas mountains.

At Kasbah Bab Ourika we are passionate about our produce. We source the freshest bio ingredients possible from the nearby market gardens and Marrakesh, to prepare a pure, artisanal cuisine for our guests to enjoy.
Our menus reflect the seasons and location. Berber, Arabic and international dishes are all featured. From healthy delicious breakfasts, light menus for lunch by the pool, exotic picnics, nutritious hiking packs and Bab Ourika specialities for intimate night time dining.
